Terms of service
Under these conditions stipulated below, the following terms shall have the following meaning: "The Company" refers to Objets Daso. "Customer" means the customer of The Company. "Contract" means any contract for the sale of goods by The Company to the Customer. "Objet" means any goods sold by the Company and received by the Customer.
All signs distinguishing products sold on www.objetsdaso.com and those that are posted on this website, other than those which are stated otherwise is trademarked by The Company. This includes campaign imagery, logo, and other visual assets which are stated to be owned by The Company. Any use of these assets is strictly prohibited.
The Company has the right to alter Objet specifications of those stated on its e-commerce website, including differences in colour (for both leather and hardware), shade and dimensions. The Customer's statutory rights will not be affected.
All payments taken from the Customer will be pre-authorised at the time of an order being placed. No goods shall be supplied by the Company without payment. All payment for Objets will be taken from the customer's chosen payment method when an order has been placed.
The Company uses Shopify's secure payment gateways. Shopify manage the transaction on The Company's behalf. The Company therefore does not, at any time gain access to the Customer's full payment method details, except the customer's address. This is necessary as it enables The Company to fulfil the Customer's order. The Company does not store Customer's credit card details, nor does the company share customer's details with any 3rd parties.
DELIVERY / CUSTOMS NOTICE
The Customer will be responsible for any customs, import duties and/or taxes payable for their order. Due to unforeseen circumstances, some orders on Objets may experience customs delays. The Company unfortunately has no control over custom charges or custom delays. The company cannot foresee what these may be, but we aim to estimate these at checkout. In this unlikely circumstance that there are delays, The Company suggests that the customer tracks their order via DHL and to contact their local customs office for further information.
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, the Customer has the right to cancel their order up to 7 days after receipt of the order date. The Company offers a 14 day returns policy from the date of the goods being dispatched. In this instance of a refund, all refunds will be given directly to the customer, excluding postage costs and customs and import duties for a return, unless a clear mistake has been made by The Company. The Company has the right to cancel any orders if an objet is purchased outside of the e-commerce stores selling time. If the Company's site, for any reason, fails to cut off limits on available objets sold, The Company has the right to cancel additional orders, due to insufficient stock.
If the Customer establishes that any of the objets have not been delivered, or have been damaged during delivery, or are defective, or are not of the correct quantity, The Company will offer the customer a full refund of their goods including any associated shipping costs. In no circumstances shall the liability of the Company to the Customer under this condition exceed the invoice value of the objets received.
Any and all claims arising from damage, delay or partial loss of objets during transit of delivery must be made in writing to Objets Daso within seven working days of delivery. The Company will be afforded reasonable opportunity to investigate any claims made, and the Customer shall, if so requested by the Company in writing or verbally by The Company, promptly return any of the objets subject to any claim and all packing materials associated with it, securely packaged and tracked to The Company for careful examination.
